Information you choose to share
When you submit a contact or assessment inquiry, your name, email, business details, message, and any assessment summary you choose to share are sent through Resend to Hartwell. We use this information to respond and evaluate the requested work. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Assessment answers
In-progress assessment answers are saved in session storage in your browser tab. They are not sent to Hartwell while you complete the assessment. You can clear the draft using Start over; closing the browser session clears session storage. The preliminary summary is based only on your answers.
AI assistant
When live AI chat is enabled, your submitted messages and recent conversation context are sent through our server to OpenAI to generate replies. We request that responses not be stored using the API store setting; provider safety retention may still apply. Do not include passwords, sensitive personal information, account numbers, or confidential business records. Hartwell does not save chat transcripts in its application database.
Security and operational data
The hosting provider may process request information for security and site operation. The chat service uses temporary, hashed request identifiers and usage counters to limit abuse and costs. Counter data expires after a short period and is periodically removed. The site does not include advertising trackers or a newsletter signup.
Service providers
Hosting, email, and AI providers process the information needed to deliver their respective services. The website uses ChatGPT Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure, Resend for inquiry delivery, and OpenAI when live chat is enabled. Direct email links use your chosen email provider. External websites have their own policies.
Your choices
You can browse without submitting an inquiry or using chat. Contact Hartwell to ask about information you have sent, request correction or deletion, or report a privacy concern. Inquiry emails are retained as reasonably needed to respond, manage the requested work, and meet applicable obligations.
Changes
This notice should be reviewed when hosting or integrations change. We will update this page to reflect the services actually used.
